Old Street

An expressly lean approach to structure, weight and material selection is adopted for a new office and retail building. A hybrid superstructure of steel and cross laminated timber is wrapped in an aluminium rain screen facade. Designed over a historic mews, slim cantilevering steel horses carry the floor plates efficiently.
